Chris Williams Programming 96 Rock

Former 99X program director Chris Williams and current PD of the Buzz, has had his duties expanded to include interim program director of 96 Rock.  Both the Buzz and 96 Rock are owned by the same company, Clear Channel.

WKLS, 96 Rock,  enjoys a strong heritage, and in the Regular Guys and the Atlanta Braves, has two of Atlanta's premier radio programs.  Nationally the Classic Rock format has been in decline for a number of years with many of the stations that pioneered the format abandoning it.   One can't help but think that the search for a new PD might foreshadow a change.
